Bill & Patti Szilva from Bayfield have been selected to receive the local 2011 San Juan Outstanding Tree Farmer of the Year award!

Each of these individuals are featured in the attached newsletter and will be recognized during an event on Saturday, August 6th near Pagosa Springs.

The Colorado Wood Utilization and Marketing Program and Governor’s Energy Office will be hosting the Colorado Forest Products™ Marketing Conference on August 18-19, 2011 at the Denver Marriott West in Golden. The conference will cover the concepts and elements of successful forest products marketing and provide framework for increasing the competiveness of our businesses and our wood products in our state, regional, and national economies. There is no cost to attend for Colorado Forest ProductsTM members and $50 for non-members.
